Life Commitments and Encounter Weekend

In the Book of Acts, God gave us the pattern for a New Testament church, how that church is to function and what it is to be about. This is a church that moves in the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that this Life Commitments process follows that pattern and purpose to reveal to us what it takes for you to be a 21st Century New Testament Christian in a 21st Century New Testament Church. Through this process, we will help you identify your unique FORM and assist you in becoming all that God has designed you to be. This is a six-week process in a classroom setting. 

Here at LHCB we refer to members as Ministry Partners. We believe that it is more important for people to be partners in the ministries that we are involved with, than just to be a member in name only. Life Commitments is our process to become a Ministry Partner (member) and get involved in a ministry.

After the classroom instruction has ended each person is encouraged to attend an Encounter Weekend. LifeHouse Church Bethel’s Encounter Weekend is an intentional time set aside for every person to experience a face-to-face time with God, and is open to anyone who would like to participate. Our desire in this weekend is that you would come to a place where you truly “encounter” God. It should be a time of reflection, as we allow God to affect a change in our life. Just as Jacob encountered God and was never the same, allow this weekend to be a time which forever will change your life, because you have come face to face with the living God. Every person, whether you are a new Christian, or have been a Christian most of your life, should participate in one of our Encounter Weekends. The cost for the weekend is $90.00 per person all inclusive.
