July 18, 2010 Series: Life Stories Title: Part 2: "God Is Faithful" Pastor Dave Rodriguez “Praise the LORD, all you nations; extol him, all you peoples. For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD.” Psalm 117 God is Faithful “The LORD protects the simple hearted; when I was in great need, he saved me.” (v. 6) What God is saying is: That when we are exhausted He will renew you That when we are feeling spiritually weak, the Lord can revive you That when we are dry and beat down, the Lord can refresh, rejuvenate and raise us up God Redeems “For you, O LORD, have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.” (v.8 NIV) “Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Hebrews 4:16 God’s Grace is sufficient, it can meet any need or hurt or hang up. God’s GRACE and LOVE sets us free from the imprisonment of condemnation. God is Mighty “…….you've been rescued from tears; And you, Foot, were kept from stumbling." (v.8 – The Message) Remember God can and will intervene when confronted with temptation. Remember God’s power can help us overcome. Remember God’s forgiveness and his redemption supersedes any lie of the mind or of the enemy.
