PRAYER
The prayer ministry of LifeHouse Church Bethel provides the foundational support of the church through faith-filled intercession and prayers. This ministry, serves as one of the core values that support the structure on which all the ministries of the church are built upon; keeping “watch on the wall” with a heart for spiritual intercession and a discerning eye for any potential spiritual conflicts, thus enabling the ministry efforts of the church to continue in the most productive means possible.
“I will stand my watch and set myself on the wall and watch and see what He will say to me. (Hab. 2:1) In biblical times, “watchmen” where stationed on the wall and given a solemn responsibility that included three critical components: 1) to look out for potential danger, 2) to look for the dawn of the new day and the possible coming of the King, and 3) to communicate what they saw to the people in the community. Because of their position on the wall they could see what others could not see. Today’s “watchmen” are ordinary people with extraordinary spiritual prowess and power, who have taken their position “on the wall” in prayer and intercession for LifeHouse families, communities, and ministries- locally, regionally, and globally.
