Gatekeepers
The Gatekeeper Ministry Partners serve as Hosts and Hostesses in the Parking Lot, Entrance ways, Hallways, Welcome Center and the Sanctuary.
CARE Ministry Partners are like Gatekeepers, they play a strategic role in the reunification of man with God! What are traditionally labeled Greeters, at LifeHouse Church Bethel, we identify these ministry partners as Gatekeepers.
We use the term Gatekeeper because we want to serve you by going beyond just greeting and welcoming you. We want to help make your Church experience a time of building your personal relationship with God and others.
The Bible says in Psalms 84:10: "A single day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked."
The Psalmist describes the joy of joining others in the service of worship, as being a Gatekeeper in the House of God. That one day in the place of worship, would be worth more than a thousand days anywhere else. He would rather be the humblest servant in the Temple (or Church), and get no further than the door, than have a permanent place where wickedness abounds.
Bethel's Gatekeeper Ministry Partners work on the front line. This ministry establishes the first impression of our Church. It is designed strategically to help usher you into the presence of God. Our goal is that you will be warmly welcomed into the House of God and that you will feel comfortable with the surroundings so that you will be free to enter into a deeper relationship with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
