 KATRINA RELIEF PROJECTS We have been blessed to be a part of the rebuilding in Gulfport, Mississippi and the surrounding area after Hurricane Katrina devastated those communities in August 2005. We have sent project teams to aid construction and support during the past 2 years. While there our teams have partnered with Pastor Norwood Seymore of First Assembly of God and Pastor J.P. Sherman of Extended Hands Ministries, their wives and congregations as they reach out to those in need. These pastors and their wives have a tremendous burden for those in need. We have helped many that have been affected by the flooding and high winds that damaged most homes and businesses. It has been great to encourage and use the gifts and talents God has given us. Those encouraged have not been limited to the ones we reached out to, but our teams were encouraged also. While we have been there the people in the community have given back to us by providing meals and building relationships with us. The project teams have been involved in many different kinds of projects including roofing, flooring, drywall and general construction projects. UGANDA UPDATE-June 2006  Pastor Terry, Cayla and Jeremy returned from a two week conference in Uganda on June 12th. It is amazing how God continues to partner LIFEhouse Church Bethel with effective leaders that share in the mission/vision that God has given this house.  Pastor Terry and Pastor Steven Sebyala shared daily in the Leadership Conferences and Crusades. Everyday the crowds grew larger as Pastor Terry spoke into the lives of the leaders in Kampala and Gulu. Thousands of people gathered each evening for the crusades. Many people were saved, healed and delivered. Continue to pray for Pastor Steven, his wife Sarah and the people of Uganda.  |
